Yeah, so I've officially become a cheerleader for Eric Northman. For those of you who live in an alternate universe or who don't have HBO, Eric Northman is the 1000 year old blond god of a vampire character on the series True Blood. For the last few weeks, I've been finding myself more and more curiously drawn to his aloof, subtly sadistic and seemingly tormented character. It doesn't hurt that the character is played brilliantly by Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard either.
And it is now officially true. Alexander Skarsgard has *something* about him and consequently I (and thousands of other True Blood fans) have a celebrity crush I'm rather enjoying. For me, this is particularly due to the evolution of Mr. Skarsgard as an actor, which I happen to find quite fascinating.
I mean, we have this....

Good god, I didn't realize Mr. Skarsgard was so...diverse. And looking so fucking sexy dressed en femme. I have a whole new respect for this man (by the way, if anyone knows what clip or movie the feminized version of Alexander is from, please let me know).Seriously, good for Alexander for not being afraid to explore different roles in his career.

OK, I went 'all unnecessary' at pic #3. Oh yes.
Interestingly enough, there's another wonderful writer called Mary Janice Davidson who writes Vampire stories (the first one is called 'Undead and Unwed') and her male central character is called Eric too.
